These job postings are primarily intended for folks who have been laid off temporarily or who have lost jobs due to the COVID-19 Crisis, but all are welcomed to inquire.
You can inquiry anonymously, and I will communicate to the hiring party what needs and expectations are in more detail, then if you wish, I will put the two parties in contact.
Please honor my request to keep discretion on all of this. There’s no time to go through mounds of process/paperwork for companies to hire right now and PEOPLE NEED THE WORK, so we are doing this all under the table.
PROMISES / RULES:
— Minimum of $10/hr – payment in cash or online apps – no checks, no exchanges
— Guarantee of “No Hard Feelings” when the person is able to return to normal work schedule.
— Work must allow for reasonable social distancing, no crowds or physical exchanges
— All jobs will be listed as “voluntary” for legal purposes. Upon inquiry, and I will facilitate the connection between the person hiring and the worker, and will setup compensation and work schedule.
WOOD TABLE BUILDING
Requirements: comfortable using a sander and willing to learning a few basic (simple) carpentry skills, will teach the skills if necessary.
Potential Hours: 10-30 hrs/wk
ART: MURAL PAINTING
Requirements: local artist, would need to see a portfolio or some photos/examples of previous work. This mural would go on a garage door or on 1 side of a brick house.
Potential Hours: TBD
Windows + House wash
Requirements: No previous work experience required
Potential Hours: once, 6-8 hours total
CARPENTRY WORK
Multiple offerings.
Requirements: previous experience with power tools and basic understanding of handy-work.
Potential Hours: 5-30 hrs/wk
GARDEN HELP
Multiple offerings.
Requirements: physically able to walk, kneel, and use hand to work in the garden. Can’t be afraid to get a little dirty!
Potential Hours: 10-30 hrs/wk
WINDOW WASHING
Requirements: No previous work experience required, will have to be outside during the work
Potential Hours: once, 12-14 hours total
CHILDCARE
Requirements: NOT SICK, and willing to guarantee ZERO contact publicly other than care for children at home. Best if had experience in child sitting previously.
Potential Hours: 10-40 hrs/wk
